Welcoming a New Decade

Woo-hoo! Today is my 20th birthday! I’m so excited and my friends and family have already made the day so special. Thank you to everyone for the sweet messages and kind wishes—I am so thankful to have so many amazing people shine in my life. I’ll be celebrating with my friends later today and then I’ll be going out to dinner with my special someone—location to be a surprise!
I’m not a teenager anymore! And while it’s been a great decade of high school memories (except middle school I could leave behind) I’m so excited to move on to this decade. So much is going to happen in these next ten years that I’m really looking forward to; college graduation, a new job. Marriage and kids, possibly? (Not ready to think about that yet!). More than the future though, I just want to enjoy the present moment and the day to day. Every day is truly a gift and I always want to remember that.
I hope that you are having a wonderful day and thank you to everyone who has made mine so special.
Keep shining,
The Sunny Girl, Lauren Cook

  1. 1. Shopping with Lizzy: One of my favorite people and one of my favorite things to do!

    2. A birthday dress: Pink, of course.

    3. Dinner with Kelly’s family: It’s so nice to be around family this time of year.

    4. Susie Cakes: Whoopie pie mania.

    5. The Kings Speech: I finally saw it. Too much hype though, I think.
