In all this time of having my blog (which is over a year now), I’ve never delved into describing my wonderful mom. Even though I mention her every now and then, words can’t describe what an influence she’s had on my life. Tomorrow she is leaving for Israel on a mission for peace and I am praying for her safety, security, and serenity as she makes such a trek.
I love my mom dearly and I wouldn’t be where I am today if she were not in my life. From baking delicious calzones tonight to surprising me with a new dress, just because she felt like it—my mom is always reminding me how much she loves me with her words and with her actions. I love my mom just as much and she brings me an unequivocal amount of happiness in my life.
Who brings you this much joy in your life?
I have to admit, I am a little anxious as I prepare to send my mom off tomorrow. (Isn’t it supposed to be the other way around?) She returns on the 27th and I’m already excited for her to come home. I love that she is going on such an adventure, but I am naturally a little cautious about this trip. I would greatly appreciate your positive thoughts and prayers (if you say them) as my mom makes this journey.
I love you mom!
Be sure to tell someone that you love them—you never know what tomorrow may bring.
