An Interest in Pinterest

Can't wait to try this pumpkin cheesecake thanks to Pinterest!

I may have just become a miniature Martha Stewart in the making. (Minus the jail part). I’ve discovered a website that many of you have probably already discovered but if you haven’t yet seen it, you have to check it out. Drum roll please…

Based on a series of images, you can “like” or “repin” icons depending on what your interests are, whether it’s food, travel, design, people—you name it. Just after browsing the sight for a few minutes, I instantly felt happier and it inspired me to go to the craft store and get some of my own projects in order. (Rhinestoning seems to be my new method of procrastination for packing up).

What’s great about the site is that the website caters to your interest. They show you all the images that you would love and as you establish more repertoire on the site, the images get more specific to your interest. You have to try it. As humans, we are visually inclined to feel happier when we see certain images that spark peace, joy, compassion, and fun. Why do you think people love pictures of puppies and kittens? It can truly brighten your day in an instant. With Pinterest, it’s like that multiplied by a 1,000.

Here is the website to check it out:
